C.ex Community Art Exhibition and Competition
C.ex Community Art Exhibition and Competition opened on Thursday, 18 January 2024 at C.ex Coffs. The exhibition attracts both professional and amateur artists and this year saw over fifty entries. Diverse and inspiring artworks were on display for visitors to view and all available for purchase until Wednesday, 24 January 2024.
Opening night and award presentation saw local artists, family and friends come together, showing support of the local art community and celebrated the following artists success, sharing in a prize pool of $1,700.
– 1st Place – Debbie Laan for ‘Abundance Mandala’
– 2nd Place – Jane Hutchins for ‘Bad Hair Day’
– 3rd Place – Ruth Randall-George for ‘Sir Basil’
– Emerging Artist – Rhonda Johnstone for ‘Cornishware with Eucalyptus’
– People’s Choice – Noela Wood for ‘Fragments in Time’
