C.ex Community Art Exhibition and Competition – 18 January to 24 January 2024
Power up your brush! The C.ex Community Crew are welcoming entries into the 2024 C.ex Community Art Exhibition and Competition.
The exhibition attracts both professional and amateur artists and allows artists an avenue to showcase and sell their pieces. We will have a great selection of prizes up for grabs and the competition will be judged by a well-known local artist.
So, colour outside the lines and unleash your inner creativity for the C.ex Community Art Exhibition and Competition! Entries close 3pm Friday, 12 January 2024.
Event Details
Exhibition Date: Thursday, 18 January – Tuesday, 23 January from 10am to 7pm & Wednesday, 24 January 2024 from 10am to 3pm
Opening Night & Award Presentation: Thursday, 18 January at 5.30pm
Location: C.ex Coffs, Blue Room Level 1
Entry Details
The competition is open to all local artists 15 years and older. Entrants must be members of the C.ex Group and any entrants under 18 years of age will require a parent or guardians member number to enter.
The entry fee is $10 per piece entered and must accompany an entry form. A maximum of 2 pieces per entrant, with a size limitation of 1m per piece is permitted.

C.ex Community Art Exhibition and Competition 2023
The 2023 event saw a wide variety of fantastic artworks on display by local artists. The exhibition and competition saw the following Artists success, sharing in a prize pool of $1,700.
- 1st Place – Lindsey George for ‘Reef Dreaming’.
- 2nd Place – Peter Magnuson for ‘Alaskan Mountain’.
- 3rd Place – Jill Hankinson for ‘Gorgeous Day’.
- Emerging Artist – Melissa Smith for ‘Contemplating the next Chapter’.
- People’s Choice – Chris Jessop-Middleton for ‘I Saw You’.
