Our dining outlet features an enticing menu influenced by modern Australia mixed with a few of our favourite Asian dishes from our former Walter’s Bistro. Located at C.ex Woolgoolga, Buster’s Brasserie boasts a relaxed, coastal feel with quality meals and great service.
The new menu features some new items like Asian salad bowl and Buster’s seafood combo, as well as all the classics from a chicken schnitzel or parmigiana, to slow cooked sirloin or Barramundi fillet from the grill. We also have some of Walter’s favourites including Singapore noodles, honey king prawns, butter chicken and more, so there’s something for everyone.
Buster’s Brasserie is a family-friendly venue and includes kids meal options to cater for everyone. Contact the club on 6654 1307 to reserve a table, open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner.
The Buster Story
The Buster was driven ashore and became a total wreck at the mouth of Woolgoolga Lake on March 8, 1893. The vessel was built in Nova Scotia, Canada and was 310-ton and 39-metres long. It had arrived at Woolgoolga from Sydney in February 1893 to load timber bound for New Zealand.
A storm hit whilst it was moored, breaking its anchor cable, and it eventually beached 200 metres down the beach, no lives were lost.
The new name for the dining outlet at C.ex Woolgoolga not only signifies a historical feature of the Woolgoolga township but is something that Woolgoolga locals love and appreciate.
