Smoking Legislation

As of 1st July 2006, the 100% smoking ban in all enclosed areas of Clubs and Hotels was enforced. This means that all indoor areas of the C.ex Group of Clubs are non-smoking areas, this includes no smoking at all gaming machines.

Provisions have been made for those members who do smoke, and these have been factored into renovations at all three C.ex Group venues. Outdoor alfresco areas have been created, providing a designated outdoor smoking area for patrons.

The designated smoking areas are clearly marked, and staff and management will monitor the activities of patrons in these areas, members and guests alike.

Coffs Harbour Liquor Accord Terms

Media Release from the Coffs Harbour Liqour Accord – 20/12/2018

The Coffs Harbour Liquor Accord has agreed to adopt a new strategy “Barred from One Barred from ALL” i.e. our Local licenced venues have agreed that anybody barred from one venue because of their Aggressive Behaviour/Anti-Social Behaviour can now be Barred from all venues. The Accord has created a platform to share this information between the Venue Managers and where it is deemed appropriate the offender will be Barred from all Venues in the Coffs Harbour Liquor Accord.

The Accord, the Police and the Venue Managers have been working on this project for the last 12 months, this Policy will affect only a very small minority of trouble makers that we don’t want in our venues but it will help ensure that our venues are safe for the vast majority of our customers.

This will become a very valuable tool for our Venue Managers and Security in our bid to stamp out Anti-Social behaviour in our region.
