In the interest of our staff and patron’s safety, the C.ex Group will enforce all restrictions as imposed by NSW Government Public Health Orders.

Update – Friday 25 February, 2022

  • Masks are no longer required to be worn indoors.
  • Social distancing is still strongly encouraged by members, guests and visitors.
  • We encourage mask wearing if it ensures members, guests or visitors feel safer whilst in any C.ex Group venue, however this is personal preference.

Update – Friday 18 February, 2022

  • Customers entering the premises are no longer required to sign in using the Service NSW QR code.
  • Masks are still required for all indoor areas, except when eating and drinking, unless you have a medical exemption.
  • All members, guests, visitors and contractors must continue to sign in and out of the club using the Clubnet entry system.
  • Premises will operate with no density limits.
  • Singing and dancing whilst in the club is now permitted.

Update – Wednesday 15 December, 2021

  • Customers entering the premises are no longer required to provide evidence of vaccination status.
  • Customers are no longer required to wear face masks in the club.
  • All staff, customers and contractors must sign in using the Service NSW QR code.
  • All members, guests, visitors and contractors must continue to sign in and out of the club using the Clubnet entry system

  • Premises will operate at 1 person per 4sqm indoors and 1 person per 2sqm outdoors.

  • Those using the club for vaccination purposes must use the Vernon Street entrance only

These updates are government mandate and will ensure the safety of our staff, members and guests. These conditions will be amended on November 8 2021 and further information will be provided for members at this time.

Update – Wednesday 6 October, 2021

The NSW Government has mandated some opening procedures for hospitality venues. Please see some information below regarding the entry requirements from Monday 11th October, for all C.ex Group venues:

  • Proof of double vaccination will be required and must be presented to staff on entry
  • Masks will be required for all indoor areas, except when eating and drinking
  • Masks are no longer required to be worn outdoors, this includes outdoor al fresco areas
  • Covid Safe check-ins via Service NSW will continue
  • Club sign-in is a continued requirement
  • Maximum of 20 people for group bookings
  • You must remain seated when drinking indoors
  • Premises will operate at 1 person per 4sqm indoors and 1 person per 2sqm outdoors.
  • Social distancing and hygiene measures should continue to be adhered to
  • Those using the club for vaccination purposes must use the Vernon Street entrance only

These updates are government mandate and will ensure the safety of our staff, members and guests. These conditions will be amended as the state reaches the 80% vaccination rate and further information will be provided for members at this time. Please click here to view our Safety Plan.

Update – Thursday 9 September, 2021

After announcements from the NSW Government this morning, we are pleased to be able to reopen all C.ex Group venues for restricted trade from Saturday 11 September. C.ex Coffs and C.ex Woolgoolga will open at 10am and C.ex Urunga will open from 11am. Closing times will be determined by trade levels.

Each venue will offer dining options including The Brasserie and PLANK at C.ex Coffs, Buster’s Brasserie at C.ex Woolgoolga and The Shank Inn at C.ex Urunga. Trading hours and menu options for these dining outlets may be reduced temporarily and we thank you for your patience as we work towards gradually reopening all outlets to their full capacity.

During the initial stages bingo, raffles and other weekly activities will not be conducted, we will notify members when we plan to bring them back. TAB, Keno, Lawn Bowls and Golf will be available and members from Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga may travel to Urunga to play golf.

We will not be allowing entry to anyone from an LGA of concern and all members entering the venues will be required to check-in, sign-in and wear a mask, unless exemption has been granted. Vaccination is not a requirement for entry, however, this may change in the future and we will ensure members are notified of any changes regarding this.

Update – Monday 16 August

During the temporary closure C.ex Coffs will be open for bottle shop takeaways from 10am to 4pm – Monday to Friday. C.ex Woolgoolga will be open for bottle shop takeaways from 9.30am to 2.30pm – Monday to Friday and C.ex Urunga will also open from 7am daily for those wishing to play golf, please click here for further information on golfing rules.

Update – Saturday 14 August

Due to restrictions enforced by the NSW Government, all C.ex Group venues will temporarily close from 5pm Saturday 14 August. We will continue to update our members and guests as we receive more information. Please stay safe and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Update – Thursday 5 August

Anyone travelling from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Maitland, Port Stephens, Singleton, Dungog, Muswellbrook or Cessnock within the past 14 days will not be permitted entry to any C.ex Group venue.

Anyone travelling from Victoria within the past 14 days will not be permitted entry to any C.ex Group venue.

Update – Sunday 1 August

Anyone that has travelled from South East Queensland within the past 14 days will not be permitted entry to any C.ex Group Venue. This includes the below areas: Brisbane City, Ipswich City, Logan City, Moreton Bay Area, Redland City, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast City and Noosa Shire.

Update – Saturday 26 June

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
 
Subject to new NSW Health covid restrictions as of 6pm Saturday 26th June, the following restrictions apply to all C.ex Group venues;
 
• All members and guests visiting the C.ex Group must wear a mask whilst indoors
• Drinking while standing is not permitted
• 1 person per 4 square meters allowed
• Anyone who resides in the Greater Sydney Area, Central Coast, Wollongong, Blue Mountains or has been to those areas in the last 14 days will not be permitted entry

Acting on advice from the NSW Department of Health, the C.ex Group will be restricting entry to any persons who resides or has been in the following Local Government Areas in the last 14 days;

Inner West LGA
Waverly LGA
Woollahra LGA
Bayside LGA
Canada Bay LGA
Randwick LGA

City of Sydney LGA

Update – Thursday 1 April

Travellers from Queensland are now permitted entry to all C.ex Group venues.

If you are travelling from Queensland you will not be permitted entry to any C.ex Group venue until further notice.

If you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath) or have a fever you are not to enter any C.ex Group venue and are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19.

Update – Friday 1 January, 2021

If you’re heading out to any C.ex Group venue, it’s important everybody in your group checks in electronically via the Service NSW App, as per current NSW State Government regulations.

The safety of our members, guests, employees and the community remains our top priority and as such, we have implemented a number of new policies and changes to the way we operate, including thebelow measures.

Our friendly team will be there to guide you through these changes and ensure our venues remain a safe place for you to enjoy and for our team to come to work.

All C.ex Group venues are registered COVID Safe Venues with COVID Safe Plans in place. We are continually updating our plans to reflect the latest advice from the Australian Government, NSW Health and ClubsNSW.

These new measures strengthen our existing  practices that any person entering C.ex Group venues must be aware of and abide by, as follows:

  • Club entry policies 
  • Record keeping including mobile phone numbers for any person entering C.ex Group venues to allow for contact tracing purposes
  • We strongly encourage patrons to download the COVIDSafe app

You will also notice some changes when you enter the Club including:

  • All members must swipe their members’ card upon entry and exit and visitors must sign in and out upon entry and exit
  • Dedicated Hygiene Ambassadors are on duty at all times to ensure patrons are adhering to the entry policy, socially distancing, refraining from co-mingling and that C.ex Group’s strict hygiene standards are met
  • Automatic hand sanitiser stations have been placed at various locations throughout all venues for patron use and hygiene

We need your co-operation

If you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath) or have a fever you are not to enter any C.ex Group venue and are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19.

You can help protect our community when visiting by:

  • Practising good personal hygiene including regular hand washing/sanitisation and correct cough/sneeze etiquette
  • Maintaining social distancing of 1.5 metres
  • Using contactless payment wherever possible
  • By not rearranging any furniture without consulting the Duty Manager
  • Refraining from moving from one group to another

Persons who do not cooperate with our advice in relation to COVID-19 will be asked to leave our premises.
