Keeping our members, guests and employees safe.

In the interest of our staff and patron’s safety, the C.ex Group will enforce all restrictions as imposed by NSW Government Public Health orders.

Update – Thursday 9 September, 2021

After announcements from the NSW Government this morning, we are pleased to be able to reopen all C.ex Group venues for restricted trade from Saturday 11 September. C.ex Coffs and C.ex Woolgoolga will open at 10am and C.ex Urunga will open from 11am. Closing times will be determined by trade levels.

Each venue will offer dining options including The Brasserie and PLANK at C.ex Coffs, Buster’s Brasserie at C.ex Woolgoolga and The Shank Inn at C.ex Urunga. Trading hours and menu options for these dining outlets may be reduced temporarily and we thank you for your patience as we work towards gradually reopening all outlets to their full capacity.

During the initial stages bingo, raffles and other weekly activities will not be conducted, we will notify members when we plan to bring them back. TAB, Keno, Lawn Bowls and Golf will be available and members from Coffs Harbour and Woolgoolga may travel to Urunga to play golf.

We will not be allowing entry to anyone from an LGA of concern and all members entering the venues will be required to check-in, sign-in and wear a mask, unless exemption has been granted. Vaccination is not a requirement for entry, however, this may change in the future and we will ensure members are notified of any changes regarding this.

The safety of our members, guests, employees and the community remains our top priority and as such, we have implemented a number of new policies and changes to the way we operate, including the below measures.

Our friendly team will be there to guide you through these changes and ensure our venues remain a safe place for you to enjoy and for our team to come to work.

All C.ex Group venues are registered COVID Safe Venues with COVID Safe Plans in place. We are continually updating our plans to reflect the latest advice from the Australian Government, NSW Health and ClubsNSW.

These new measures strengthen our existing  practices that any person entering C.ex Group venues must be aware of and abide by, as follows:

  • Club entry policies
  • Record keeping including mobile phone numbers for any person entering C.ex Group venues to allow for contact tracing purposes
  • We strongly encourage patrons to download the COVIDSafe app

You will also notice some changes when you enter the Club including:

  • All members must swipe their members’ card upon entry and exit and visitors must sign in and out upon entry and exit
  • Dedicated Hygiene Ambassadors are on duty at all times to ensure patrons are adhering to the entry policy, socially distancing, refraining from co-mingling and that C.ex Group’s strict hygiene standards are met
  • Automatic hand sanitiser stations have been placed at various locations throughout all venues for patron use and hygiene

We need your co-operation

If you are feeling unwell or displaying symptoms of COVID-19 (cough, sore throat, fatigue or shortness of breath) or have a fever you are not to enter any C.ex Group venue and are encouraged to get tested for COVID-19.

You can help protect our community when visiting by:

  • Practising good personal hygiene including regular hand washing/sanitisation and correct cough/sneeze etiquette
  • Maintaining social distancing of 1.5 metres
  • Using contactless payment wherever possible
  • By not rearranging any furniture without consulting the Duty Manager
  • Refraining from moving from one group to another

Persons who do not cooperate with our advice in relation to COVID-19 will be asked to leave our premises.
