Pensions & Welfare Enquiries:

Please contact the North Coast Veteran Centre, located in the Legacy Shop, Scarba Street, Coffs Harbour.

Pension & Welfare Officers at the Veteran Centre provide practical support to all veterans; ex-servicemen & women and their families, ensuring that they are familiar with and receiving all entitlements and services.

We are usually able to provide assistance with, or access to (or alternatively,) an effective referral network for assistance with family matters, accommodation, finance, aged care, home help and maintenance services.

PENSIONS & WELFARE

Pensions (Australia ex-Servicemen & Women )

All pensions advice and general welfare is to be referred to the Mid North Coast Veterans Wellbeing Centre, located in the Legacy Shop on Scarba Street.

Veterans Wellbeing Centre Pension Officers are trained under the Training and Information Program (TIP). The Training and Information Program (TIP) is a joint venture of ex-service organisations and Veterans’ Affairs providing training for members of the ex-service community as Pensions Officers, Welfare Officers and Advocates. Alternatively, assistance is also available via the DVA Network Counter of Centrelink in Duke Street Coffs Harbour or Veterans Affairs Network Office (DVA VAN Lismore).

The RSL (NSW) Information Section also has Pension Officers located at the NSW State Office of the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. They are available Monday to Friday 10.00am to 3.00pm and their address is:
